It doesn’t matter if you’re here for a weekend or planning a big summer trip, this mountaintop adventure zone is designed to bring out everyone’s inner explorer.

Located at the base and slopes of Peak 8, Breckenridge Fun Park has changed names a few times over the years, but locals and travelers still affectionately call it “Fun Park.” Today’s Epic Discovery experience offers a mix of adventure attractions, nature‑immersive activities, and unforgettable views of the Tenmile Range. If you’ve ever visited in winter, you’ll instantly recognize the area. It’s part of the same beloved ski resort families have flocked to for decades.
And as a Breckenridge family photographer, I can confirm: the views alone are worth the trip. Even if you’re not an adrenaline junkie, the scenery makes it an amazing spot to breathe, wander, and connect as a family.

Breckenridge Fun Park is built with families in mind, from epic slides to thrilling coasters, to climbing and ropes courses, to mini-golf and gold-panning.
The alpine slides get kids grinning ear‑to‑ear as they race each other down the mountain. The alpine slides offer just the right mix of adventure and control, making them perfect for school‑aged kids and fun‑loving grown-ups. The Gold Runner Coaster winds through trees and overlooks sweeping vistas while you control the speed! It’s thrilling without being overwhelming, so it works beautifully for families with multiple ages.
If your little ones prefer something calmer, the mini‑golf course and gemstone panning are always a huge hit. They might walk away with a tiny treasure, and you walk away with a photo of their proud little faces. I call that a win‑win! You must take the Scenic Chairlift Ride up the mountain with views that are wide‑open, dramatic, and uniquely Breckenridge. Even if you’re not taking photos, the chairlift ride is an unforgettable experience for kids.
