Winter is absolutely magical and even with the the colder temps, it's still my favorite time to photograph sessions! Despite visiting in early December, the Gonzalez family got a winter wonderland for that backdrop that was one for the books! Check it out!

We'll connect on a quick call so I can learn more about your family, what this season of life looks like, and what you’re hoping to capture. This is where we make sure we’re a great fit and begin shaping a session that feels true to you.
Making the session official will require a retainer and signed contact, both of which can be conveniently completed online. I can't wait to start this journey with you!
A few weeks before your session, we’ll meet for a design consultation where we’ll thoughtfully plan all the details. We’ll talk through who will be part of your session, the moments that matter most to you, and the overall feel you’re drawn to.
I’ll guide you through location and outfit choices so everything comes together in a way that feels cohesive and natural, and we’ll also begin thinking about how you might want to enjoy your images in your home afterward.
3. Design consult
Woohoo! Session day is here. With all the planning in place, you can simply arrive and enjoy time together as a family.
I’ll gently guide you when needed while also giving you space to interact naturally, creating a balance of relaxed, candid moments and beautifully composed portraits. The entire experience is designed to feel calm, easy, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.

After your session, we’ll meet for your reveal and ordering appointment where you’ll see your images come to life for the first time.
I’ll walk you through selecting your favorites and help design artwork that feels meaningful in your home. This is where everything we planned comes together into something tangible and lasting!

Rachel was AMAZING!!! My family and I came to Colorado on vacation and decided to have family pictures taken with a different background than we are used to. I reached out to Rachel and set up a session during our stay. She was able to suggest the best time of day for us to get the pictures.
My Florida boys are not used to the cold and she was wise and wonderful and planned ahead and brought blankets to use in between shots. I have gotten such positive feedback from the few pictures I posted. I'm extremely happy that Rachel helped make this such a beautiful success.

Our family was difficult to schedule a session with to say the least, and Rachel was very understanding and very communicative the whole time. Also, we had several unhappy kiddos, a couple of slow/injured walkers, and were near the bottom of a ski hill where skiers and snowboarders would sometimes race through the area we were posing in. The whole time she was patient and adaptable to whatever we needed. Not to mention our pictures turned out fantastic!
She was a joy to work with and we highly recommend her to anyone searching online for a photographer- including people who, like us, don’t live in the area!
